MECHANICAL ENGINEER – HyCO PST

The successful candidate will be responsible for non-rotating mechanical equipment design for construction of new hydrogen/CO/syngas (HyCO) plants.

Responsibilities include providing direction to outside engineering contractors worldwide and performing critical technical reviews of their work. Areas of responsibility include furnaces, boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, materials selection, and quality control. Experience with design and fabrication of high temperature piping and equipment is desired.

Responsibilities also include providing operating plant support for the HyCO business. This support requires interaction with Operations personnel to solve plant problems with equipment and piping.

Travel to supplier shops, construction sites, and operating plants both domestically and internationally is required. The amount of travel is normally 15-30%.

The successful candidate should have 5 years experience performing detailed design of pressurized equipment. This requires a working knowledge of ASME VIII Div.1, TEMA Standards, and API Standards. The ideal candidate will also have some experience with ASME B31.3 piping design, and piping flexibility analysis in particular. A BSME is required.

The position requires significant interaction with suppliers and engineering contractors. The successful candidate should have effective communication skills and be able to lead global team members to closure on technical issues.

(6)Participating in P&ID reviews and Hazops at customer or contractor      offices.

The successful candidate should hold a BS, MS, or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering with at least 5-15 years of experience in chemical engineering, preferably with an emphasis in process design. Strong technical skills and experience in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid flow, and process simulation using the ASPEN suite of tools are also necessary to be successful. Domestic and international may be required.

Position requires an advanced degree in Engineering or Materials Science with at least 5 years working experience in an industrial R&D environment. Knowledge of metallography and customer interaction experience is also highly desired.

We are seeking a BC/BE surgeon with added qualifications in trauma/surgical critical care and an interest in general surgery to join our salaried group of nine full-time trauma surgeons and eight physician assistants. The surgeons and mid-level providers manage a 14-bed trauma/neuro unit, 28-bed trauma step down unit and a 15-bed surgical intensive care unit. The practice also has a significant academic component which includes ongoing clinical and basic science research as well as daily teaching of surgical residents, medical students and a surgical critical care fellow. The Principal Systems Engineer is a member of a highly specialized staff of professionals who provide mathematical and statistical consulting and analysis services primarily to scientific researchers, plant engineers, and business managers. BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Position requires a Ph.D. in Chemical / Industrial / Mechanical Engineering with background in engineering sciences, applied statistics and computational modeling techniques.
• 0-5 years of experience in industrial problem solving with emphasis on analyzing process data coming from multiple sources and sensors including digital images.
• The incumbent must have strong knowledge of the state-of-the-art methods in data mining, numerical analysis and mathematical optimization, simulation techniques, and statistical sciences.

The position is part of the Materials Deposition Applications Group, Materials Research Center, whose mission is to translate new Air Products technology into high value materials that enable our key customers to fabricate flexible and printed electronic devices.

The key responsibility of this position is to support the development and commercialization of solution-processable HIL materials for use in electronics devices such as OLEDs and OPVs.

The candidate requires a good knowledge of device physics and should be able to fabricate experimentation devices to support the evaluation of our materials development and provide guidance on how to enhance performance. The new materials will be typically applied via spin coating and/or ink jet, screen or gravure printing application, so familiarity and comfort with established and/or new and emerging application techniques is required.

The candidate will work closely with our Advanced Materials and/or Electronics commercial development teams, ensuring business sponsorship for the work and clarity on target applications and customers. Success will also require close technical coordination with our synthesis and specialty polymer teams within MRC. In the operating areas, financial analysts are generally responsible for providing complete financial decision support for a particular product line or business unit. Additional work includes capital investment analyses and other financial aspects of key business operations such as marketing, production and engineering. Financial analysts utilize the most current financial sales and cost analysis techniques and develop financial models while working with the accounting systems appropriate to their assigned area.

Planning Analysts use the breadth of their business and analytical skills to help assess and define the long-range direction and strategy for Air Products as a whole, or a specific operating group. In addition to supporting the ongoing strategic planning process that requires contact with both the profit centers and corporate staff functions, individuals in these assignments may find themselves enmeshed in acquisition efforts or major new market studies.

Other duties include process troubleshooting at customer sites, starting up cryogenic grinding systems, running customer demonstration trials, and providing input to our applied research group for new offering development. Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical degree in manufacturing-related field is desired.
* 5 or more years experience in cryogenic applications, industrial engineering/plant operations experience is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of cryogenic applications, equipment design and data monitoring systems.
* Strong commercial or customer interaction experience.
* Knowledge of grinding applications is also preferred.
* 40% travel.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance and strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and time management skills. Two to five years of previous internal audit or public accounting experience is preferred. CIA or CPA certifications are also preferred, or the candidate should be willing to obtain an audit certification while in this audit position. Experience with SAP is desirable.
