Job Description:
Handle inbound calls from insured members, providers and policy holders regarding group short term disability insurance. Member Specialists enrich the lives of the people they touch by providing responsive and professional resolution to inquiries relating to policy, benefit, claims, eligibility in a manner that builds Customer loyalty. Provides a positive Customer Service experience to all Guardian Customers.

Qualification:
Qualified candidates will possess strong skills in oral and written communications, problem solving, and adaptability. Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, a strong "Customer-focused" service attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced Team environment. Must also maintain a high sense of priorities and use solid judgement in making decisions and communicating those decisions to the appropriate parties. This role requires a "team player" who will pro-actively offer opinions, innovative ideas and feedback in order to improve Team performance and achieve department goals. Previous Customer Service experience and P.C. skills in a Windows based environment are preferred. Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required.
