1. Verifies that all reconciliation for A/R accounts is completed accurately and on time.
2. Responsible for insuring that cash received in A/R is applied and deposited on a timely basis.
3. Responsible for the lock box application; including Checks, EDI, Wires and verifies deposits are loaded into the SAP (A/R system) daily and reconciled to reports provided by both the bank and the SAP.
4. Process credit card payments as needed.
5. Process other transactions, i.e.: Offsets, Check requests and B-Codes (small dollar journal entries).
6. Researches Customer Accounts/Transactions regarding information within the A/R area as requested, such as short and over payments, and Customer Disputes and Refunds.
7. Performs other duties as assigned by the Accounts Receivable Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Areas of responsibility include furnaces, boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, materials selection, and quality control. Experience with design and fabrication of high temperature piping and equipment is desired.

Responsibilities also include providing operating plant support for the HyCO business. This support requires interaction with Operations personnel to solve plant problems with equipment and piping.

Travel to supplier shops, construction sites, and operating plants both domestically and internationally is required. The amount of travel is normally 15-30%.

The successful candidate should have 5 years experience performing detailed design of pressurized equipment. A piping background is beneficial.

The position requires significant interaction with suppliers and engineering contractors. The successful candidate should have effective communication skills and be able to lead global team members to closure on technical issues.

The engineer will be responsible for the preparation and development of Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for cryogenic ASU (Air Separation Unit) plants (large and small) while working with a global team from the Shanghai and Hersham offices. The engineer will participate or lead operability and hazard reviews and be responsible for incorporating the knowledge of the various functional teams (Process, Machinery, MSE and design teams) into the P&ID design. This will also include interface with our Global Operations Team to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Qualifications:

* BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Advanced engineering degree a plus, but not required.
* Prior experience in PSO (Product Supply Organization), Process, or Process Controls required.

Job Description and Qualifications Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for an Insurance Claims Administration Manager at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

The Manager, Insurance Claims Administration position is global in scope and is primarily responsible for the oversight of claims administration for the Company’s global insurance and self-insurance programs. The position will have claims settlement authority and be responsible for directing outside counsel and claims adjusters to execute settlements on behalf of the Company. The position is also responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting of claim experience and maintaining, enhancing, developing and implementing Risk Management's claims database systems, computer models, and information technology applications necessary to support the company's identification and analysis of risk, the purchase of insurance, claims administration, transmission of underwriting information, and support all other aspects of the company's risk management programs.

Qualifications:
This position requires a general knowledge of insurance and risk management as well as basic accounting. A college degree is required with a minimum of five years experience in insurance or risk management. The applicant must have the ability to work well with people at all levels, managing large amounts of detailed information with an extremely high level of accuracy. The applicant must also have the ability to negotiate and make independent decisions as well as the ability to set priorities and prioritize as work demands change. The applicant will negotiate the settlement of claims (within a prescribed range of authority) as a representative of the Company in court appointed mediations and settlement conferences. Effective oral and written communication skills are a must.

Principal Accountabilities:
* Manage global claims handling processes for Company insured/self-insured programs.
* Manage third party claim handlers and allied resources (incl. AP subject matter experts and outside counsel) in the execution of claim handling processes.
* Report excess claims to insurers and preserve rights of recovery under global insurance policies.
* Provide periodic reports on the status of major claims.
* Determine and authorize settlement authority for claims to defense counsel and/or adjusters to resolve claims
* Advise internal clients on insurance claim questions and education re: claim reporting
* Liaise with EH&S to assist in the identification of hazards and claim trends through the collaborative use of the claims database
* Analyze claims loss data and prepare underwriting information to support the Manager, Insurance Administration in premium negotiations with the company's insurers.
* Perform periodic analysis on the status of the self-insured claim accrual.
* Analyze the company's risk management data handling and information technology needs as well as maintain, develop, and/or create systems for the department.
* Coordinate reimbursement of third party claims administrators for self-insured claim payments.
