Job Description and Qualifications Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an opening for a Manufacturing Accountant at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

This position is responsible for providing accounting support to various Performance Material manufacturing plants. Responsibilities will include providing comprehensive accounting services including cost accounting, monthly close activities, management reporting, account analysis for profit centers and accounts, develop and monitor cost standards, develop and monitor activity rates, complete new material set up and costing, insure compliance with internal controls, cost center budgeting, and operational analysis. Other responsibilities include providing process support, ensuring compliance to finance policies and procedures, performing account analysis, and handling ad hoc questions and issues as they arise.

Qualifications/Skills:

The incumbent should have a 4-year degree in Accounting. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required with a strong focus on process improvement. Previous plant / cost accounting experience preferred, but not required. Previous SAP experience is a plus.

Job Description and Qualifications Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for a Project Engineer at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

This position will be responsible for managing projects executed by the plant project engineering organization, in plants owned and operated by Air Products operations, including all pases of the work (cost estimating,equipment procurement, engineering, design , construction and commissioning). The mission of the PPO is to develop and maintain a multi skilled team to implement EH&S, productivity, and reliability projects rapidly and in coordination with the operating teams. The projects involve a high level of integration with existing plant operations and lend themselves to a "hands on" style, with the candidate working in the field to resolve problems. The position emphasizes organization, planning, and leadership skills with broad knowledge of many engineering disciplines. Most projects will be executed in North America but there will occasionally be a need to execute projects internationally which will require international travel.

Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities, particularly in the area of safety
- Manufacturing, plant operations, maintenance and capital projects experience
- High ethical standards - unwilling to compromise on worker safety and regulatory compliance requirements
- Organizational credibility - able to influence business area, engineering and manufacturing managers in decision making process
- 5 years experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines
- Basic understanding of the process technologies employed within Global Operations
- Technical degree (mechanical engineering preferred but instrument/controls, chemical, civil or electrical are acceptable as well)
- The grade range for this position is 110-115 and all candidates in this range will be considered.
