Job Description and Qualifications Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an opening for a Manufacturing Accountant at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
This position provides comprehensive accounting support to the World Wide Helium Business of the Merchant Gas Segment. Responsibilities include, monthly closing activities, product costing (the annual costing process and costing of new materials), management reporting, variance analysis, annual cost center budgeting, inventory analysis, account analysis and operational analysis. Additionally, the incumbent will work very closely with Business Decision Support, assisting in the financial analysis of this dynamic business, addressing issues as they arise. This position is also responsible for ensuring compliance with Finance Standards and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls related to the procurement, costing, storage and delivery of Helium products.
Qualifications and Skills:
The candidate should have a four-year accounting degree and a working knowledge of SAP. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also required. The candidate must be able to work independently and focus on process improvement. Previous manufacturing/cost accounting experience preferred, but not required.

Job Description and Qualifications The Principal Product Engineer will assume the role of the working lead for the Liquid/Bulk Product Engineering team within Global Operations Customer Engineering. The position includes day to day workload and technical leadership of a team of product engineers and specialists with the primary product responsibilities in various Atmospheric and Hydrogen Customer Station systems and components including cryogenic storage tanks, vaporizers, high pressure stationary storage tubes, and manifolds. The position requires personal responsibility for the LHy component of the product management, while providing and managing support to field engineering, construction, and operations/maintenance personnel on troubleshooting and issue resolution. The position entails product development (PFO) support, design coordination, bid activity support, and supplier interface, quality, and relationship management. Additional dimensions include the use of CI tools and skills to identify and drive cost improvement opportunities for the team's product lines and its customers.
Qualifications:
BSME, BSChE, or equivalent with 10 years experience in an engineering or project management type role. Essential skills for the position include good team leadership, interpersonal, customer interface, and organizational/time management skills as well as a solid technical skill base. Knowledge and understanding of design, fabrication and construction work processes are a plus.

Job Description and Qualifications Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Engineer.
The Project Engineer is a member of a project management group and is responsible for executing assigned projects and achieving project goals in support of the business area focused on the chemical industry. The type of projects range from reuse of existing designs to development of new technologies or processes as well as retrofits and upgrades to existing plants.
The Project Engineer is typically the individual who is assigned responsibility from the technical aspect for leading a project team in defining and completing an agreed upon scope of supply. The Project Engineer assumes ownership of the project budget, schedule, and technical quality to achieve the project and business objectives established at the start of the project.
Typical project activities include: technical liaison to the business areas, the customer's single point of contact for communication and resolution of project issues, participation in the definition of scope of supply, preparation of customer proposals, resource planning, defining and leading a project team, coordinating system design and specification, risk analysis, equipment procurement, equipment fabrication, drawing packages, value engineering, scope of supply documentation, contractor procurement, construction procurement and management, system commissioning and start-up, and project status and close out reports, etc.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering with 5 - 10 years engineering experience and minimum 3 years project engineering experience. Good communication skills, negotiating skills, and teamwork skills are also required. Development of new technologies, products, or first of a kind project execution a positive but not required. A list of past project experiences along with references for the last 5 years will be required.
