Job Details: | Responsible for the day-to-day operations and smooth patient flow of Centro de Salud Latino Americano, the AIDS Activities Office and the Hepatitis Care Center. Ability to lead and coach other professionals, while simultaneously functioning as member of a team. Ability to handle and complete multiple tasks and assignments. Job Details: | Assist in the management activities of LVPG Insurance Billing Department, ensuring the responsibilities of the billing staff are performed accurately, thoroughly and in accordance with established timelines outlined within LVH HR policies and LVPG Insurance Billing internal policies and procedures. Duties include overseeing as well as taking part in monitoring staff daily work activities and hourly work schedule. Coordinating and Leading the set up and maintenance of internal billing policies and procedures relating to accounts receivable follow up. Supervise insurance billing staff (exempt and non-exempt). Responsible for the interviewing, hiring, and internal orientation of all new staff. Responsible for PTO logs, Sick time, Accounts Payable, Insurance carrier fee negotiation review and approval, electronic automated posting reports, medical record charge posting and assisting in the prioritization of projects and the delegation of responsibilities within the department. Will assume all of the departmental management responsibilities in the absence of the Manager. Bachelor or Associate Degree in a related field, business or healthcare preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities and interact with multiple people at a variety of levels. High level of analytical skill required to evaluate and design operational methodologies. At least 5-7 years experience in a Central Billing Organization, physician based setting, preferably in a large, high volume, multi-disciplinary environment. Demonstrated supervisory experience at the highest level. Extensive working knowledge of the IDX Physician billing system and insurance carrier billing regulations. Ability to coordinate and lead 40+ staff members along with superior customer service skills (internal & external). Hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week), but this schedule may be adjusted to meet the operational needs of the Department. |
