Job Description and Qualifications Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for an Accounting Analyst at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania

Job Responsibilities:

* Answer technical accounting questions
* Review and summarization of new accounting pronouncements
* Preparation of Management Discussion and Analysis for quarterly and annual reports
* Prepare journal entries to record business acquisitions and divestitures along with a review of the computation of goodwill for an acquisition and the gain/loss on a disposition
* Present at accounting update conferences - new FASB statement or other accounting topic
* Preparation of accounting policies.

Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience required.
