The applicant will execute high temperature HyCO projects with some guidance, as appropriate, from a senior, experienced Process Systems engineer. Responsibilities include managing the project’s P&ID development, shutdown & critical safety tables, alarm and trip setpoints, piping model reviews, SIL assessments, and operating procedures. Leading operability reviews, participating in Hazard reviews, and assisting in developing field-commissioning plans. Coordination of all functional issues involving reliability, operability and maintenance while providing technical liaison support to Global Operations. Working with our alliance partner Technip is required

A BS in CHE or ME is desired; however, at least seven years of actual field experience with various plant startups will be considered in lieu of a degree. Some travel is required, primarily to North America.

The candidate should have the capability to understand a wide array of plant areas including instrumentation, machinery, electrical and process engineering. Previous experience in these areas or operating experience is a plus.

The candidate should be able to learn SmartPlant P&ID software.

•Pressure Transducer Calibration

•Laboratory Scale Flow Meter Repair/Calibration (Including mass flow controllers, transmitters, probes)

•Evaluate new equipment & new technologies
•Safety

10 - 15% travel may be involved.

Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent technical experience with 5 - 10 years instrument calibration and team leadership experience. Demonstrated history of technical abilities organization skills is required. MS Office and Database skills are required. Experience with Continuous Improvement tools a plus.

Additional requirements include working knowledge of pertinent building and design codes, geotechnical considerations and deep foundation systems. Incumbent will work as part of a large team in accomplishing these tasks. Good communication and teamwork skills are necessary.
