Job Description and Qualifications Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Principal Intelligence Analyst at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

This position is accountable for in-depth intelligence and information to enhance the quality, efficiency, and impact of business and technology decisions. The incumbent will run specific Analyses and generate topical Backgrounders. He/she will also serve on the core team of strategic planning processes and major task forces and focus teams. The incumbent will develop a client base that generates a consistent flow of projects for the group.

The analyst will be skilled at gathering key content from database, internet, and human sources. This position brings technical expertise, work process expertise, and credibility to influence major strategic decisions by providing information gathering and analysis resulting in critical insights.

This position reports to the Manager of Business and Technology Intelligence, who reports to the Director, Enabling Technology Services.

Qualifications

The candidate should have a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, and/or business, with significant and broad experience. They should have functional expertise in intelligence, understanding of R&D, business, and commercial development processes, and great curiosity and insights about a broad range of new technologies and businesses. Internal and external contacts are plusses.
