Job Description and Qualifications Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for a Senior Tax Counsel - Asia at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Provide counsel regarding the relevant U.S. and foreign tax implications and planning opportunities relating to Air Products business, with primary focus on its activities throughout Asia. Advise on a wide variety of tax planning opportunities, including new capital investment, M&A activity, repatriation planning, and corporate structuring. Work with a broad range of company personnel around the globe in various company endeavors; have oversight responsibility of tax audits in Asian entities; participate in the development of FIN 48 positions. Will have direct supervision of International Tax Counsel.

Reports to the Vice President, Taxes.

Candidate is expected to have a JD and to have 6–10 years of relevant experience in a law firm, a Big 4 accounting firm, and/or within the tax department of a multinational corporation. An undergraduate degree in accounting or finance will be a plus, but is not a requirement.
