Job Description:
Define variable and universal life business requirements. Provide business and system analysis, system design and user acceptance expertise for development and implementation of interfaces between vendor and variable life policy administrative system for new business and administrative transactions. This position requires extensive knowledge of variable life and universal life products and administrative processes, procedures, SEC and NASD requirements and system processes. Participate or lead business requirements discussions with vendor representatives, business analysts and end users. Participate or lead Requirements walk-through and review with the Business units, IT and vendors. Create and/or review functional specifications written by vendor or other business analysts for logic, completeness or errors. Develop user-acceptance testing scenarios and test cases for components assigned. Perform testing, report and resolve problems. Assist in the resolution and implementation of production problems as dictated by the end users. Assist in the identification and requirement definition and prioritization of miscellaneous systems enhancements with the end users.5 Assist in the maintenance or preparation of documentation of procedures for end users

Qualification:
5 years minimum Life Insurance experience Series 6 and Series 26 licenses desirable LOMA certification a plus Knowledge of two or more of the following individual life insurance products: Variable Universal Life, Universal Life, Variable Life, Traditional Life or Annuities a plus. Understanding of new business processes and workflows in addition to all administrative processes and workflows for Variable Universal Life, Universal Life and Variable Life products. Knowledge of executive benefit plans and administration a plus. Ability to analyze features of new products proposed for development to determine impact on current procedures, processes and system processes. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Experience in writing a variety of business documents, including business process documentation.
